  1. Gavin just I got a pair of Oneplus Icons in ear headphones for £40. Astonishing quality for the price. Bass very well controlled and top end seems to be improving with use. FLAC clearly better than high sample rate Mp3s with this headset.

  2. Thanks Gavin.
I mentioned earlier in another blog I was looking for a replacement pair of ‘large ear’ Bluetooth Headphones and was initially thinking of the August EP650. Cost is not an issue but sound, comfort and controls are very important.
I lost a good whack of my hearing years ago and now listen a lot to Podcasts but I love being able to control the headphones if I miss something important and thus like to rewind back just a little. As is often the case I’m no where near the Bluetooth device at that particular time so onboard headphone controls are vital.
I’ve not had a chance to look at the Plantronics controls yet but will over the Christmas season. Without question if I pump for these or any others you have tried I will definitely use your link to Amazon.

    Cheers again Gavin. 🙂

      1. Thanks Gavin…. I’d just sat down to have a read of the Plantronics reviews on Amazon.
Looks like I’ll shift that to the Sony’s first the. Go back to Plantronics.
Got the timer going and watching the countdown clock 👍

  3. Yeah, I’m here there and everywhere between the two.
Rather like the range and auto On/Off with the Plantronics but base sound is not my desire, especially as it’s my treble hearing that has seriously dropped.

  4. What range again did you manage to achieve with the Sonys Gavin?
I do a lot of stuff outdoors and the podcasts help pass the time away.
I don’t keep the phone on me when in the garden so being able to maintain communication and listening to audio would be good.
