Samsung is due to announce the Galaxy S8 and S8+ on the 29th March. At the current rate of leaked specs, videos and more, Samsung could save some money and cancel the press event!.

So the next question, is this your next phone?
It all depends on two things for me:
– How good the camera is.
– Price.
I currently have an S6 and camera-wise, I’m not seeing anything that making me think I should jump to something else. I ain’t gonna fork out hundreds for a camera that’s only just a wee bit better than the one I have.
I *may* wait to see what Xiaomi have up their sleeve for the Mi6 (I believe it uses the latest Sony sensor) as it would probably be about half the price of the S8.

The camera difference is speed. Speed of shots. Speed of focusing. And slow motion prowess. Dynamic range will be better too. However the S6 does take good photos so if may not be worth changing it as you said.

S8 not for me. I’ll continue to use my Note 5 and get the BlackBerry Keyone. Will wait for the Note 8.
