Apple made a big point at just how good its new 12mp sensor was on the new iPhone 6S and 6S Plus. I have taken a variety of footage, both video, photos and timelapse and below is a selection of what was possible.
Please allow a few minutess for all the photos to appear if they do not appear straight away. Click on all footage to gain access to the original version.
Timelapse Mode – Impressive as taken on a windy day too which meant iPhone 6S Plus was moving on tripod.
4K Video. Play clip to the end to view a quick breathtaking view across Dartmoor.
Photos – A selection including panoramic mode
Looks amazing when viewing with my high resolution Amelod Samsung Note 5 🙂

Great great photos Gavin!!! Wow!!! Don’t worry about that Note 5 screen, the battery and inconsistency of Andoid are not worth the better screen . 😀

Notes 5 inconsistent? Don’t recognise this statement. Battery in my friends iPhone 6 now after less than 8 months does not last a day. My friends love their iPhones but batteries still an issue for the standard size devices. The Note 5 is a very large screen in a small footprint.

Jah, I think Jeff was having a light hearted joke with no malice meant. Reference android and not your Note 5.
The Note 5 is one of the best phones on android.

Yes Gavin totally gentle humor. Phones now are so good the differences are getting smaller by the day. Not wanting to start a phone war!! Those pics I must reiterate are fantastic!!

Pictures are great but my burning question is this: how did you get Tiggy to pose so perfectly. My experience of photographing animals is that they never do what you want.

To get those dog portraits , trick is to have camera open ready to shoot. Then call dogs over and tease them into position with treats. Labradors love food 🙂
