We all know Nokia have a great reputation for their camera prowess. And the Samsung Note 4 is also known to be a superb smartphone shooter.
I have been using the Lumia 830 in several conditions and in low light it has surpassed my Note 4. But what about macro. Below is an illustration.
First is the Lumia 830 crop and next the Note 4. The Note 4 had the benefit of a starting point of 16mp vs the 8mp on the 830.
So which do you prefer?

830 for me, the granular detail seems much higher despite the lower resolution!

Agreed. I find it hard to believe the 830 is better than the Note 4 at macro but it’s true.

Agree too. Every macro shot I’ve taken on the 830 has been better.

Lumia 830 is the winner to these eyes.. Surprised actually in comparison to the acclaimed note 4. Please do upload some outside photos for comparison with your Note 4.
And as you mentioned the audio quality via heaphones is excellent.. Does it outperform the Note 4 in quality and volume? Bluetooth apt-x is also comparable?
