  1. How stupid. If you drop your smartphone in a pool if water it will stop working. So intelligent highly paid tech journalists sees what happens and guess what the Smartphone stops working after a dunking. This would not be news worthy.

  2. I do not intend to go another few rounds with you Jah but seriously….. just concentrate on what is happening here.
    I can easily imagine a child picking up his parents Note 5 and inserting the pen ~ the wrong way around and Click! Damage done.

    Samsung should not have allowed a possible error to crop up plain and simple.

    1. I travel on the London Tube a lot and I see lots and lots of Iphones with cracked screens. Why? Usually because no case as metal body is slippery. My friends iPhone screen also damaged by his children because it was dropped. Slippery materials are used in latest samsung devices like Iphones. Why is this design flaw not news worthy where the evidence is plentiful? Because our tech news reporting is about getting web clicks and visits. Not about real news.
