This morning I manually checked for a firmware and there was a new one available. It’s 123.79mb. To manually check, go to settings app, about device, software update, and check for update. During update process 197 apps got optimised.

I’ve never found the sound that bad, actually the opposite. I now have a HiFiMeDIY Sabre Android USB DAC with a Cayin C5 combination which is incredible. But even using bluetooth with my Plantronics BackBeat Pro is a tough one to beat.

Multiple windows management also seems to work better. More easy to use.

Open camera (not from lockscreen ) take photo. Tap to view photo in camera and it now opens instantly.

No update for O2 handsets… Still saying latest is ANJ4……😟

Hi Gavin….so the Note 4 not rooted supports audio out through usb? That is one of the few things I am imissing fron the 6plus. The wire you mention will allow for the audio though usb?…glad you are feeling better!

Thanks I’m feeling better. Yes. The DAC is via USB straight out of the Note 4 . No extras needed.
