A good start.
Samsung Note 4 arrives but the S-Pen is intermittently not being recognised. So back in the box it went. Now waiting for a replacement.

Not uncommon with the Wacom digitiser. I had a Note 8 where the top 1c of the screen had no pen detection.

How common are faults? Do they go out of calibration like the old Palms used to?

I’ve had 9 devices with a Wacom digitiser (from HTC, Samsung and ASUS) and have faults with 2 – the HTC Fire and Samsung Note 8. So, just on my experience this is not good. In both cases, the fault was there from “new”.
