So early morning Motorola went public with the updated Moto G and X and also announced the Moto 360 watch.
I will cover off my thoughts first on Motorola. The Moto G is a well priced, competent android phone. Stereo speakers, better camera than last year all in a larger screen. So the overall profile is larger. In fact the display PPI has dropped due to the larger sized screen. It is a shame it has got bigger and I personally thought the first version was the perfect size for most people.
The Moto X. A customisable delight. Much better camera, infra red sensors to detect motion which in turn activates the screen and or off and more. I like the optional leather backs but £410. Seems like it should start with £300 ish.
Moto 360. This watch has lived up to its expectations. Except its battery life is shocking. Max of 24 hours. That maximum of 24 hours. Typical is less. So for me this watch is dead in the water.
Overall, everything announced was reasonable. Nothing set my world alight. What did you think?
I am going to have to choose between the Moto 360 and LG G Watch R. I am leaning towards the 360 based on looks. Battery life will be an issue but hoping software updates will optimise this.

Being a watch fan myself I too have been following the interests on both the 360 and Watch R.
Where I thought by this time I would have an answer I find I am still confused as to which to go for.
The 360 has a slightly bigger face but I do like the roundness the Watch R brings.
However, if that battery on the 360 remains as is, well then that will be it.

24 hours battery life? That is seriously bad and would be a non-starter for me, too.
