Android Central (www.androidcentral.com) has reported that Bentley and Vertu have teamed up in an exclusive five-year partnership to produce a new series of luxury smartphones. The first handset will launch in October and will be followed by a further four units, encompassing authentic Bentley design elements. Since Vertu has done Android in the past, it’s not far-fetched to imagine the company releasing rather extravagant Google-powered devices.

Today, we see the marriage of two great brands with an international presence and quintessential British heritage and character. I would have ordered one of these new phones, but feel I should ask you my readers to contribute towards my Bentley and Vertu fund 😀

Irrelevant comment: I was in the Jewish quarter of Prague last week when I saw a Bentley parked near a Vertu shop. 😄 Lots of blingy phones in the window. I offered to buy my wife one but fortunately she refused!

It’s a perfect marriage ~ Refinement and quality. It wouldn’t be the same if it were say Mercedes-Benz or BMW.
With Bentley in the name you just feel it would be right to ask that excessive price.
A comparison of what each phone would state.
Note: This is purely a reflection of amusement. No negative intent is passed or portrayed, especially as I have a couple of expensive vehicles inc a new M-B being delivered in Sep:-
Bentley Phone ~ A calming owner who needs to prove nothing to show their status.
Mercedes-Benz Phone ~ Creates a sence of aloofness and very opinionated. Bland Home screens, little to show yet expensive to maintain and update.
BMW Phone ~ Shows little interest to others. Often arrogant with a patronising superiority. After a limited time the phone will appear tardy due to it’s owners careless nature.
Porsche Phone ~ Quick tempered and aggressive in nature. The screen always gets hammered.
Ferrari Phone ~ The phones screen is bigger than the owners appendage!
