In the world of phablets, the Note 3 is surely at the pinnacle. However, other companies are making larger phones than Samsung now and slowly eroding its niche space.
In return, Samsung introduced a lower cost giant Galaxy Mega last year. Well, the Mega 2 is coming and it should feature a huge 5.9-inch display with 720p HD resolution, a 64-bit quad-core Snapdragon processor, 2GB of RAM, a 12-megapixel rear camera, a 5-megapixel front-facing camera and Android 4.4.3 KitKat.
So who wants one? Not me, far too big.

I think my problem is that I am in love with the idea with big screens and have had such devices from the beginning, starting with the original Note, then Note 3 and now the Lumia 1320 but after a while of CARRYING them I get over it and I long for a more manageable device. The 1320 is a great device and but it’s just so big compared to the Note 3 and other devices that I have to have a break from it. Now I am using a smaller device for my calls and SMS and a iPad mini for media consumption. For me the Mega 2 would be a second device that I could leave at home like my iPad if I did not need it.
