Microsoft Store went live yesterday with pre orders for the Microsoft Lumia 950 and 950 XL.
The phones are £449 and £529 respectively. The specs are massive with everything including the kitchen sink. Full details can be find on the link for the Microsoft store above.
Delivery is by 3rd December 2015. My only concern is the Windows App store and the range and condition of the app catalogue available.

Surprise, surprise the specs have secretly been revealed on the range of Microsoft 10 Phone devices. Call me sceptic, but I am sure the respective companies “leak” these rumours. Anyway, below are the headline specs of the 5 new Lumia devices all set to run Windows 10.
Microsoft Lumia 550 – a 5-inch 540×960 display, Gorilla Glass 3, 1GHz Snapdragon 210 processor, Adreno 304 GPU, 1GB RAM, 8GB of expandable storage, HSPA connectivity, 5 megapixel rear camera, 2 megapixel front camera. Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, DLNA, Bluetooth 4.0 and a 1905 mAh battery.
Microsoft Lumia 750 – a 5-inch 720p display, Gorilla Glass 3, 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 410 processor, Adreno 306 GPU, 1GB RAM / 8GB + microSD combo, HSPA connectivity, an 8 megapixel rear camera with Zeiss optics, 5 megapixel front camera, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and a 2650 mAh battery.
Microsoft Lumia 850 – a 5-inch 1280×768 display, Gorilla Glass 3, a 1.4 GHz Snapdragon 410 with an Adreno 306 GPU, 1 GB of RAM, 16 GB of expandable storage, rear camera is a 10 megapixel PureView, Zeiss Optics. 5 megapixel front camera, Wi-Fi 802.11n, Bluetooth 4.0, and a 2,650 mAh battery.
Microsoft Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL – a metal design, expandable storage, removable batteries and Windows 10 software. Lumia 950 will have a 5.2-inch 2K display, a Snapdragon 808 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of built-in storage, a 20-megapixel rear camera, a 5-megapixel front camera, a 3,000 mAh battery and USB-C. The Lumia 950 XL will be similar hardware, but with a 5.7-inch display, a Snapdragon 810 chip, a 3,300mAh battery, 3 flash rear camera.
The new flagship Lumia 950 is also rumoured to have Iris scanning to unlock and also include a stylus similar to the Microsoft Surface.
Now just imagine Microsoft also announces that along with Windows 10, the Windows App Store has been overhauled with all the crap, fakes and copies all removed, and then the top 200 apps from the iOS App Store are now available in the Windows App Store. Would you be interested?
