OnePlus 5 – How to take better quality photos in one easy step

The above photo taken on the OnePlus 5 indoors in dim light is using the default OnePlus camera app. This is an extreme crop to highlight the detail.

Next up is a much better quality version.

So how did the same phone take a much better photo.

Simple. Using the Google Camera app.

Good that the Google Camera app doesn’t have to be sideloaded – I was 95% sure on getting this device but just think there are bigger and better things around the corner. The OP5 no longer offers a complete package at a massive discount – there are just too many features missing compared to the flagships this year 😦
