Apple is raising iTunes Match and Apple Music limits

Finally the 25,000 song limit for iTunes Match and Apple Music has been raised from 25,000 to 100,000.

Personally I would like Apple to have an option to stream your music at a higher bitrate than 256 AAC.

I also have not had much success using iTunes Match so will give it another go next year.

  1. Never used it Gavin, but then again with my deal old ears I’m not that much of a music fan myself.
Still, it would be interesting to hear a little bit about the service. I look forward to hearing how you get on.

  2. Must agree – 256 kbps is a joke. If they are so confident about bandwith to be pushing paid icloud storage and 16 gb devices, then why cutting corners on the bit rate?
