NVIDIA recently announced the Shield TV, which is a powerhouse of an Android TV set-top box. Priced at $199, NVIDIA is aiming at the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Originally it was launched with just 16gb of storage but not a 500gb version has materialised.
Specifications include –

– 256-core Maxwell GPU
– 3GB RAM
– Support for 4K video playback at 60 FPS
– 5.1 and 7.1 surround sound pass through over HDMI, 802.11ac 2×2 MIMO 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi,
– Bluetooth 4.1/BLE, Gigabit Ethernet, HDMI 2.0, Two USB 3.0 (Type A), Micro-USB 2.0, MicroSD slot, and IR Receiver
The Shield TV is available in early May in the 16b variety. No date is shown yet for the 500gb.
