This morning I noticed Amazon had on their deal of the day 30% off the Belkin WeMo range which includes the Belkin Home Automation switch and Smart Lights. I personally use both of these products. The Home Automation switch is a wireless plug that you can turn on and off via the Belkin app both whilst at home and when away from your home.
