Techradar reported that months of waiting and procrastinating, the long-awaited Google Chromecast streaming dongle will finally go on sale in the UK this coming Wednesday 19 March, according to leaked Dixons retail inventory revealed on Twitter.
My only concern is it’s limited use at the moment. So who wants one or has obtained one already? And if you have one, what did you use it for?

Pretty much only use YouTube and Netflix here but as I watch a lot of tech YT videos it’s used pretty much everyday. The benefits for the former are far better handling of queued videos than my TiVo and for the latter the device is silent – just about everything else in my AV rack has a Netflix client but also has an operational noise.
A Spotify, Now TV and Blinkbox client would be nice when UK officially comes online.
