Apple is preparing to launch its iPhone re-use and recycle trade-in program in the UK in the next few months and hopefully before Xmas. This follows trials in its US Stores.

Following the UK, other European countries might follow.

What many people fail to realise is a better price is normally available via an independent “sell your mobile” website. Obviously, by utilising the immediate trade in within the Apple Store, it takes away an element of hassle.

Personally, I can never see myself going down this route unless the trade in value was higher than selling privately.
