The end of an era – no iOS devices

Yesterday, the last remaining iOS device I owned got posted to its new owner. That was my iPad Mini. From the original iPod Touch 2g, iPhone 4, 4S, 5, iPad and iPad 2 all of these had hours of use. But now there is nothing.

Instead, I am all android with the Nexus 4 and Nexus 7. And it feels odd. I wonder if there will be anything new next week when Apple announce their new line up of iPhones?

What about yourself? Have to gone from one operating system to another?

  1. Nexus 7 (2013) and HTC One here, but I still have my 5th gen iPod Touch (which in fact I’m using to type this comment via the WordPress app). I’ve been an iOS fan for years, but Android has gotten as good as iOS and Apple’s mobile hardware is too expensive for what you get. It pains me to admit this, but I’m tired of paying too much when Android hardware is wiping the floor with Apple’s products.

I’ll keep my iPT indefinitely, but I see myself using Android as my main devices for the foreseeable future unless Apple really steps up their game.
