Do you feel phones are going backwards in features suddenly? Samsung has released several new phones recently, the S4, S4 Mini, S4 Active and Samsung Mega. When you look at the useable memory you are left with anything from 4gb to 9gb. And one of these is a flagship device. The same applies to other companies like HTC , Sony and Huawei.

If you examine several models from last year, they all had more available memory and the operating system even allowed apps and games to run from the memory card. With apps and games increasing in size, more memory is needed not less.

Then we now get infra red blasters included. These vanished 8 years ago from devices and are now making a comeback when wifi enabled devices exist.

I just wonder if we will ever see the next big thing on a phone.
