Thorsten Heins, the CEO of BlackBerry will make approximately $55m if the company is sold. The sale of the company is looking more and more likely as all other options have failed.

It is clear that the potential losers will be the employees. Let’s hope something good occurs from the dilemma facing the company.

The Telegraph is reporting that BlackBerry, may throw in the towel and consider takeover offers as the company’s turnaround falters, according to reports.

Following this announcement it’s shares rose 7.5%.

BlackBerry has some valuable assets so lets hope they don’t get wasted whatever happens.
