Electronic Arts and Maxis have announced that on June 14th, several Facebook games including The Sims Social, SimCity Social, and Pet Society will be permanently taken offline. EA added that “After millions of people initially logged in to play these games, the number of players and amount of activity has fallen off,”.

But what about all the people who are still playing these games, and that had invested time and cost in to them.

Shows it is not worth buying or playing online games whereby everything can be destroyed overnight.
