There were a number of reports over the last 7 days that Apple will remove the headphone jack on the next iPhone.
Connection to your music will either be done via bluetooth or using the lightning connector. Personally, removing the headphone jack might upset a few people, but really it is not a major disaster. Potentially the sound quality via the lightning cable should sound better and bluetooth music audio is particularly good nowadays.
Now if Apple provided an adapter to allow 3.5mm headphones to connect to the lightning port, then I really cannot see the fuss or inconvenience other than not being able to charge the phone whilst listening to music.
But what about yourself? Would you care?
