A few days Amazon hit the headlines with its 30 min delivery offering using Air Drones. Below is their video.

I have had a few days to think about this. It is a crazy idea was my first thought. My second thought, it’s great advertising for free just in the lead up to Christmas. This story was all over the news.

And of course it’s 4 years away from being the real deal, and that is if it ever really wasn’t anymore than clever advertising.

Just think, someone sees the drone make a delivery. And then runs off with your package? Or you live or work in a flat or office block? Would use of the air space be granted? Would there be a craze to shoot them out of the sky?
