Opera in a surprise move has announced it has bought Skyfire for $155 in cash and stock.

CEO Jeffrey Glueck of Opera commented that he believed there is a lot of synergy between the 2 companies and benefits to be had with their purchase.

If only iOS allow you to set a different default browser then this might be really interesting.
