If you are old enough, think back 10 years, and recall what sort of phone you had and if you had a PDA. Think about how expensive a 64gb memory card was.
Each time a new phone or PDA got released it was a remarkable jump forward in features normally. But if you recall the technology wasn’t flawless. Time was required to tweak the product to make it function better.
Fast forward to 2013, and go back a few years. The phones that were being produced weren’t perfect and custom android roms and jail breaking made a difference to many. In 2013, both aspects are available but the need for either on new devices is questionable. The tech is very advanced now and features now provided in newer operating systems.
Some of you will already have top notch phones from Samsung or Apple. The cameras and how they perform are already incredible. So do we really need the phones to do more. And how much more advanced can they really move forward.
The problem now is all phones being released are perfectly adequate for most things. Are we just getting bored of a near perfect machine and therefore expect more than is really possible?
What do you believe?
