I have a suspicion that this year will see the end of the iPod Classic 160gb.

Apple just announced a 128gb iPad. If they offer the same memory for the next iPhone and iPod Touch, there will be no need to keep selling the Classic. Also, sales of iPods are dropping, so it’s quite possible the Classic has reached the end of the line this year.
