Conclusion
Hopefully you liked the video review as a different option to a full written review. Please let me know your thoughts on this approach. Going back to the OnePlus 3, it really has surprised me as to how much phone you get for £309. It is not at the level of a Samsung S7 or S7 Edge or even an iPhone 6S Plus, but then again it only costs £309. However, I personally do like it and would be happy to recommend.

Gavin great video review. I think 64gb memory is a big benefit for those take lots of pictures and video. If the OnePlus 3 was in cheaper packaging it would really be an amazing bargain. Would uou use a back cover as with most metal phones it will be slippery?

In reality probably I would use a cover or skin to aide grip.

What does it mean to “be at the level” though? A very vague statement.

Hi Zeak. Thanks for commenting. At the level – to explain further – the S7 range for example is waterproof, has better screen quality, higher screen quality, better camera. These are just a few examples. Now whether they matter to you or someone else is a different story. I am not taking away anything from the OnePlus 3 just making a real life observation. The OnePlus 3 is a lovely phone!

Heh, they decided to include nfc this time after people complained last time 🙂
Video is fine. Do keep the blog & podcasts going as well.
10 – 70% sounds impressive but its 0-60 like the rest can do.
Were you at any time under the impression that the whole 6GB of memory was not available, that it did not feel like a 6GB RAM phone but something less.

Very fluid phone. Never any problems.

Impressed to see ufs 2 storage in the specs. That’s what the s7 & G5 use too.
In terms of performance, once some more firmware tweaks come out this device should feel just as quick.

I have mine now. May sell my HTC 10 as prefer the fluidity of the OnePlus. Also the dual SIM makes it more appealing for me. Will keep my LGG5 for music with its HiFi plus even though the HTC 10 is amazing at playback. The OnePlus is okay for music, but needs better top end clarity. Truely surpised how good this £309/£329 phone is. Really don’t see why “most” people would need anything more.

Hello, Gavin
Its me again.
Im looking for a replacement for my wife.
In your opinion, which one is better (considering its the same where I live) Oneplus 3 or Huawei P9, overall?

What matters more for your wife? The P9 is smaller size. The cameras couldn’t be more different. The OP3 is more stock. I would pick OP3. But worth checking what matters for your wife.
